Set up a Zigbee smartAC kit
If the modlet's LED is spinning fast or slow you will need to rejoin the modlet and thermostat remote. Please follow these steps:
Log into your account at mymodlet.com.
Click on the "Modlet Network" tab.
Click "Add Modlet".
Select the Gateway to which you wish to connect your modlet.
Click "Search" and then plug your modlet into an outlet. The modlet should be within 30 feet of the gateway or another modlet. The red LED light will spin fast as the modlet looks for a network and then stop once it has joined. Follow the onscreen instructions. If the modlet LED spins slowly, hold the modlet button down for 10 seconds to factory reset it.
If you have a smartAC kit please follow the steps to "Add Thermostat".
Click the "Search" button; then insert the batteries and make sure the X in the lower corner is blinking.
If the X is solid and not blinking, hold the power button down for 15 seconds until you see a blinking X.
Make sure the thermostat is within 30 feet of the modlet with which you want to pair it.
Once the thermostat connects, the X will disappear and the host computer screen will prompt you: "Thermostat is ready". Click "Finish" to return to your account.
