The WiFi modlet does not see my network (5 GHz)

When scanning available networks, if your modlet does not see your WiFi network it is likely your network is a 5 GHz band network. WiFi modlets can only connect to 2.4 GHz WiFi networks and will not display 5 GHz networks. To resolve this issue, connect to your 2.4 GHz network instead or login to your router's admin utility and turn on the 2.4 GHz band. 

If your router already has the 2.4 GHz band enabled and you still do not see
 your wireless
network you might need to enable WiFi "B" protocol

If you wireless network has special characters in the SSID the modlet will not display it in the list. You might see an error on the browser app "Unable to obtain MAC address". Removing the special characters from the SSID will resolve the issue for WiFi Modlet BN 2's.

IF your modlet is more than 60 feet from the router you may not see the wireless networ. The smartphone app and browser only display the 30 strongest wireless networks.

If the wireless network is hidden, the browser allows you to manually connect to hidden networks by scrolling to the bottom of the list, select [Other] and enter the network details. Remember, the SSID is case sensitive.
